I think you need to study thumbs before you enter this conversation. At first glance that does indeed look like the pinky finger. This is simply gleamed by the way the finger is pertruding straight up and the way the arm is even drawn, suggests we are looking at the back of the arm.
Come on bro are you really telling me the hand on the LEFT is wrong to you? "Study thumbs" lol really? I have one an I know that, that thumb is perfectly fine. Your being weird about thumbs....the fact that the thumb is lower than the pinky makes it clear that its a thumb. Also the round palmy part n.n
You keep mentioning the palm, well that's wrong too. Humans have a strong joint at the base of the thumb that juts out from the palm that this artist did not draw. I will reiterate, study your thumbs, actually look at it(don't be cocky and assume) compare your hand (with a mirror) with what you you see here. I can't get my thumb to do what is happening here. A thumb is not a finger. Looking at your gallery, you're either very young or very inept at drawing. Those whom are inept at drawing are not very critical of others that draw better than them. I'm guessing you're very young, and when you get older you will be more critical of your work and others. There are plenty of artists out there (that work professionally) that have a hard time with hands and feet. I'm not going to argue about his anymore, my comment was for the artist to maybe reevaluate how the hand was drawn. This artist has a lot of nice pieces but this one doesn't match the quality (anatomically) than her previous pieces, and it's not just the hand, I would reevaluate the whole piece.
Ouchy. Lotsa sharp words in there. Nothing like being told of all civilized like. Gets me a little ticklish. I just have a deference in opinion. I in fact can make my thumb do that. Your argument may be valid, Your correct to assume I dont have lots of experience in the art field. But you ARE being overly critical. Your assuming that the character is not positioning her hand in a certain way. (She is shooting lighting you know) But anyway Im just a budding rookie so take my words with a grain of salt. The only reason I have nothing bad to say about it is your assumptions can be destroyed if that gold part at the wrist was taken out an a wrist was included. Btw MR. Art Credit you seem to have an eye for detail. I would appreciate your voice on MY art. I'm not above growing myself.
Reeeeeeeally digging the quality of your work lately man! Looks fucking astounding. Keep it up, you're one of my fav DA artists for sure, you have a very unique flair about your drawings to be sure, and I mean that in the best possible way.
