Description

(Note for the judges: I will be uploading this illustration in two versions, Eye of the commoner and Eye of the wizardry, its participating just as ONE illustration, was for the sake of the concept and format.)

"At the end of that Day, there was no army to defeat, and a city to protect."

From Telara, the book of Sorrow
"The Dead Silence"

Death Colossus

This is its true form and How wizards and high level character classes see it. If you want to see it from a commoner and low class person see it, click on link below.

Description.
Based on the idea of our body our temple, in this case, its body its a throne, were his soul sits, there is vanity in the death plane world, this colossus its a life collector, the more he gains the more bright and beautiful its colors will be. The colors shift across his material body. It doesnt have physical attacks, it just spins its hour glass and wait, the hour glass moves backwards- Slowly victims becomes weaker and then dies.

Players can be warned, because when its getting near, birds start to fall down and then the sound of wind and everything stops, you can only hear you hear bit.

There is a lot of symbols hidden here, there are things from kali, wounds of Thanatos, two greek coins, crows, Regulos sign, and many more. My objective was To not sacrifice to much design with perspective, and made it a bit claustrophobic and interesting. Noticed that death has many colors in different cultures i wanted to reflect that on this picture.

Enough from me boring you, made in painter 12, took me more than 20 hours of work. Download for bigger viewing.

Thank you for doing this contest, and good luck to everyone.
