Description

Hi, even if i said i never ever going to share a brush after some rants from some people that hated me like they had paid for the brush, i think i finally cooled down. Anyways ive always had encourage people to find your own brushes, because they will fit like a glove to their own style. But lets face it painter its a difficult program for begginners. The difficulty to get this brush its sooo difficult, probably this is the brush that took me more time to figure out, took me more than 6 years to get this settings on this brush.

If you like me, are a guy that loves working on a mechanical pencil 0.5 in letter paper size, this brush will be a treat for you. Painte rits a great software but tried many of their brushes and felt like something was missing, i didnt felt confortable on each one, grain didnt looked right.

This works as an anchor brush also, what do i mean a bout anchor? I had the bad habit of over zooming, so i really dont have something to anchor me to the real size of the drawing, and this brush like real life mechanical pencil, you cant zoom out more, so when im drawing i got the right size, and not over zoom adding more and more detaisl that wont show on the printing.

The drawing on the image on top its over zoomed, so you can see the texture.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

This brush works better at the default size, dont change it, maybe you can change it to a smaller one like 3, but if you over size it it will look really bad. The paper i use its the default one in painter, this gives me a nice texture.

This brush is proporcional to real life canvas or paper, what do i mean by that?, that thisbrush works great in canvas size 11 by 8.5 inches, or even a3 size (10 x 15 inches for comic pages), the resolution i give it to you, but i like working in 300ppi or 350ppi, so create a canvas with this resolution to get the right size of digital paper.

Another Cool factor about this brush, its that it has his own color. What do i mean by that?, it means each time you use it, it will use a dark color almost black, so you wont waste time figuring out what color was it?

But what about if you mess up the size or color by mistake? Well its pretty easy to reset the brush by default, do you see the icon i got circled on the image on top? Well thats a reset button, each time you press it, the brush will return to default.

Also set up the brush tracking to a better feel to the hand, each person has their own brush tracking, What is brush tracking? Its a special feature on painter that lets you control pressure at will on the brush, for more info google it.

Okay the installation its pretty simple, just download it unzip it, then open corel painter x3, then go to brushes, go to import then go tobrush, so import a brush, this is not a category or a set, its just a brush, sooooo, go to the carpet, click on the file, and its done, a new brush will appear in your set.

The steps were simple, so i wont be answering silly questions.

Im so happy about this brush so i wanted to share it, probably it wont fit your taste because its customized for mysself, but if you like it, that will be awesome.

HAPPY DRAWINGS PEOPLE.
