My art book to debut at Megacon Orlando Fl.Hey guys just giving everyone a heads up, my art book, "Tales from Another World: The Art of Patrick Reilly will be debuting at Megacon Orlando Fl. at the Creature Entertainment booth on March 15-17.
It will be a 92 page book with selected images ive done over the past 10 years. It will include tidbits on my art process and stories behind some of the images ive created along with a foreword by Holly Frazetta. Ill be there to sign copies for those interested.

Off to Sydney's Zelda SymphonyHey guys!
Despite going through a rough time with my health, I will be on the plane to Sydney on the 29th to watch the Sydney Zelda Symphony on the 2nd of Feb at the Sydney Opera House. It is something that I cannot miss.

So i was at the creepy part of youtube...So i was watching so much random videos on youtube and then suddenly i found myself at the creepy side of it.

so i watched this video and amg there are so many stories out there and some of them are so creepy xD
this video is about NON gaming pastas, that isn't related with games.
So all this are from either shows or "real life event"
I have read a few that shows up on this video but not all. The one with the youtube page was so disturbing :I
So which one do you find disturbing out of the ones in the video? ;u; and how would YOU rate it cause this is their rating and i don't know if would agree with Squidwards Suicide being first, i mean there are others on the video that i find kinda more disturbing than that and a few out there in the webz....but that's just me (/O3O)/~

I DID IT. VICTORY.
I'm just pretty grateful that the confession wasn't something that 'bad' like "she's a huge bitch" or "she copies designs" or something. Basically the only thing that even comes close to bothering me about it is the fact that they said I use the same colors for EVERYTHING. Sorry but no. I use those colors a TON. I use them more than I should, I openly admit that, but I don't use them for everything. (But in all seriousness I know that my limited palettes are something I need to work. I need to step out of my comfort zone, by using new colors and colors I might not necessarily like, so I can improve as an artist and adoptable designer.)
Not too long ago someone brought this up on one of my adopts... suspicions are raised.

I've always been asked why didn't I go to Art School. I guess I've always thought that 'artists with diplomas' are a bunch a snobs. And that's how it is here where I live. I know the majority of people from Art Uni and I can't stand them. They mostly went to Art school just because it's hip and it sounds nice to say you are an 'artist'. Most of them don't even have talent. I kid you not. I used to teach a girl how to draw hands(I'm not good at them either...but she kept drawing characters without hands...they were always keeping their hands in their pockets or at the back). Another thing I noticed is that people who don't go to art schools turn out to be better or even more successful. The best examples are great actors who never attended Art school or musicians who never went to Music School and they are still better.

Animes so far that caught my eye.

K

A simple name for the extraordinary animation in this piece just by watching the first 5 seconds i was hook up by the music, then watching a badass dude smoking a cigar i was knocked out. The return of the badsssssessssss in anime form, i was getting tired of dudes tha looks like a 5 year old surrounded by ladies of look 4 year old.

This anime its like persona 4 meets samurai champloo, the fish eye shots on skateboard were so cool, this also have a bit of vibe like final fantasy versus. Main character has white hair so i was guessing it was K dash as kid, hhahaha joking

Tonari No Kaibutsu

The character Maka from soul eater meets a crazy dude named Morita from honey and clover and a romance starts, thats how i should resume this anime, expect the unexpected things, that guy is as crazy as morita. I must say music its awesome in this anime fits every situation, it seems it will have drama mixed with good humor. I was laughing hard when he as for help when he was getting robbed. All points out to a love triangle. Girls rejoice, because i am, i love girly anime.

Dont be fooled by the trailer, has nothing to do with real plot.

Shinsekai Yori

Started slow the chapter, but points out to be mega impressive, love when they dont spoil all story in one chapter, starts with a kid with mental or spiritual powers killing regular people. I was surprised by the style of faces looks like new type of anime, like the ones you see lately, really well done and interesting.

Chuunibyou Demo Koi Ga Shita!

Its like K-on part 2 in a cute way, a boy that started to mature meets a girl that still behaves like a 8 year old girl and she thinks she has magical powers, story seems interesting there are cute moments, style its really nice. But at the moment they start turning this in pedophilia im out. Crossing fingers they dont show nothing of that.
