Now, after i bought the cintiq 22hd, with more brightness and more contrasti got color blinded. Having too much can be bad, new monitors they have the brightness so wayyyy up, that you can almost lit a room.
Noticed that the default 6500k in rgb was a bit different from my old cintiq, i saw the flesh tones and said, ummmmmm. Must be a wrong color profile. Then some friends of mine complained my colors looked really dark, i mean almost black. So i had to tone down the brightness on my monitor.
Do some test, and noticed that looks good on my cintiq, but bad on my second screen, a dell monitor. Also in the ipad looked dark and in my cellphone looked sooo bright?
So i was shooting in the dark.
Then the spyder 4pro cath my attention, this time has 7 sensors for different tones of blues, and even a light room sensor, to callibrate the light of the monitor with the room. Again why should i spend 140 dollars, maybe it wont work.
So ive skip it, until a friend with same cintiq model brought it, and say it was awesome.
So it was decided i bought it.

I mean its insane, i bought it on tuesday and arrived on friday. I wasss like WWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW you have a new client here. I had to pay international tax but was awesome, because ordering from other countries can take months, and took less than 3 days, and was the cheapest from all options the one i choosen.
So i followed the instructions. Was really easy, took me a while to notice i had to press continue, hhahaha i was waiting like almost an hour. hahhahahahahhahah
But then after ten minutes of calibration my heart was beating fast, did it was a success?, How wrong i had my monitor calibrated? Will it calibrate a second screen? Will i have trouble like other people that gave it a one star?
Then i clicked next. Then i got dissapointed that didnt changed the tones like from night to day, but after my second blink of my eyes, like they refreshed the image, i was like WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW what the hell?
The flesh tones looked so real from photos, so i looked my reference images and photos looked amazing, i can even notice tiny details, that couldnt see on the image before. By default the new cintiq 22hd in 6500k mode, the flesh tones looked like yelloew with blues, now they look warm and real.
I was surprised that the spyderpro also detected the dell, and i was able to calibrate both screens, the dell has more contrast becaus eits a better monitor. But now they look almost the same. I was like hell yeahhhhh.
I noticed i could calibrate my ipad too, so i downloaded the program and a nother HEEELLLLL YEEEAHHH.
I dont regret a single penny spend on this one, my lazyness and indesition made me choose the wrong colors all this time, hope that now the colors look more wamr,at least to my eyes.
