Thank you for sharing that part of your thought process, it really explains quite a bit how your work ends up looking the way it does and I'm amazed you're so heavily influenced not only by the concept of each illustration but also by the practical aspect of what you're trying to paint.
I'll definitely try to break away from the technical chains I've imposed on myself. And your approach will definitely help!
Anyways, back to the image. Compared to the other one you should 5 years ago, this one is great! It's funny that you said people said your works are over-saturated, because I love how colorful this is!
